Birch Creek Arts & Ecology Center Release
1. I understand that Birch Creek Arts & Ecology Center (BCAEC) is located in a wilderness setting and that by spending time here I will expose myself to natural hazards including, but not limited to: poison oak, yellow-jacket hornets, poisonous snakes and spiders, ticks, falling branches, bears and mountain lions, ponds, streams, unstable cliffs, ravines, sharp objects, damage and debris from the recent activities, etc. I will not hold Chant Thomas or Susanna Bahaar Thomas, The Bioregional Activists Gathering, Birch Creek Arts & Ecology Center, Trillium Farm, or any Trillium resident, intern, or guest, or any Bioregional Activists Gathering employee or volunteer responsible for injury I may suffer.
2. I agree to cooperate and abide by all the guidelines of our hosts and I agree not to bring any pets, meat, illegal drugs or weapons, controlled substances not prescribed by a physician, to Birch Creek Arts & Ecology Center.
3. I understand that the Bioregional Activists Gathering will offer a variety of activities, some of which I may find physically, mentally and emotionally challenging. The level of my participation in any of the activities is at all times completely my choice. I may stop or say no at any time.
4. In the event of an emergency I give BCAEC staff and/or Bioregional Activists Gathering staff permission to call an ambulance or physician. I release Bioregional Activists Gathering staff, BCAEC staff, Chant and Susanna Bahaar Thomas and anyone affiliated with Trillium Farm from all liability from any injury I may suffer from my participation in these activities or in my experiences in an wilderness setting.
5. The three preceding items apply to all minors in my company for whom I am responsible. (Please list each such minor under your name, including their age and gender.)
6. I understand that I am here on my own accord and that I am solely responsible for my own actions and decisions on levels of participation in any form.
